Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters
Participating again in Carissa's randomness... I love starting the week with a good emptying of the brain!

{un} My wee ones are growing up (sniff...) and this was a big 'moving on up' weekend! Trace finished building Remy's new loft bed, so he is officially in a twin size bed 'way up by the ceiling'. He's thrilled! As he moved out the toddler bed, Halle was more than eager to take his place. I was a little nervous, thinking that keeping my wild girl in her cage for a bit longer would save my sanity, but she did great. We're only two nights in at this point, but she went down like a champ! Every time they move into a new phase I get a bit sentimental, but at the same time, I think it's a sign that we must be doing something right. Right?! God in his tremendous grace has so richly blessed us with these little people!

{deux} I have to share that I found the cutest fabric collection for my new winter line. That's all I'm sharing for now, but I'm so excited and hope you will love it too! More details to come as I have them~ patterns are being drafted and samples made at the moment...

{trois} I can count in french. However, I did begin to doubt myself and googled the spelling just in case. I should trust my memory more... I was correct!

{quatre} I love this time of year and the fact that new t.v. is on every night. I am a dork, and I think I'm okay with that.

{cinq} I adore Martinelli's apple juice in these sweet little bottles. Trying to think of a craft to make with them... So cute (and I think it's the best apple juice ever. EVER.)!

{six} My new boots arrived and are so fantastic. I was pretty sure that you were wondering about that.

{sept} I have been thinking about doing a weekly devotional sort of post around these parts (sounding a bit 'country'... perhaps due to the wearing of the afore mentioned boots?). Is that something y'all would be interested in? I write a ton, but only occasionally post them on here. Any thoughts?

Hope you have a blessed Monday~ I know it's a holiday for some!

  1. That little apple juice bottle is so cute. I have boots on there way to me too and I cannot wait. They are very country so there might be some twang in my writing sometime soon too. hehehe
Devotional posts would be so neat to read. I hope you do end up sharing that private part of your writing.

  2. Your husband built a lovely bed for your son. It's always bitter sweet when our children grow up. That's the cutest apple juice bottle I've ever seen. Oh I would love to participate in a devotional blog. I've been thinking about doing something like that as well. Just haven't gotten around to it.

  3. I agree. Each phase is so sentimental but so much fun. Bunk beds are precious! Can't wait for Gabriel to have some siblings.
    Happy Monday!

  4. New phases can be so liberating and so bittersweet too. A weekly devotional would be lovely! - Carrie

  5. It always makes me sad when I box up their clothes. My last baby will be out of her crib soon and I am totally dreading it.

  6. I've been kinda itching to convert Presley's crib to the toddler bed and have also been worried that I'd mess her all up. She's always been a great sleeper and I'm terrified of messing with that. But the time will come eventually.

So how much are all your fabulous new fall/winter projects gonna cost me? ;)

We need pics of the new boots. And you know I'm always up for a devotional.

  7. On a scale between 1 and 10 - 1 being hanging a picture and 10 putting together an IKEA desk - how difficult was it to build the loft bed? I've been muddling over throwing one together.

    With nails and screws.

    And building plans.

  8. I love Martinelli's too. I think they make the sparkling apple cider my kids and I love. Just google friend(ed) you. Love your blog, Cheers!

I love to hear what you have to say~ Thanks for leaving your mark!
